Welcome to MarketPlace Arts
MarketPlace Arts brings creativity and culture to the communities of Fenland and West Suffolk. Our mission is to ensure everyone has the opportunity to create and enjoy high-quality, ambitious creative experiences where they live.
We create exciting projects in Fenland and West Suffolk, working closely with local communities. We work across seven market towns, from Brandon, Mildenhall, and Newmarket in West Suffolk to Chatteris, March, Whittlesey, and Wisbech in Fenland.
What we do
We produce a wide range of creative projects all year round. From all day festivals, to art installations, creative workshops, theatre or storytelling; there’s something for everyone. Every project is co-created with the communities they’re happening in, ensuring authentic and meaningful experiences for all.
Save the date: St George’s Fayre – 27th April
Mark your calendars for April 27th when St. George’s Fayre returns to March town centre! We’ll be running workshops in the lead up to the festival so you can get involved in the parade. The day will feature exciting performances, a full programme of family-friendly activities, and much more.

As of 1st April 2025, MarketPlace Arts is the new name for MarketPlace and from this same date MarketPlace Arts will be operating as a charity in its own right. This change represents an exciting moment in an over 10 year journey for MarketPlace and a real commitment to our Fenland and West Suffolk communities for the future.
